Christmas Eve

The day before Christmas is always a busy day.
Fortunately there were a lot of people to help.
Bruce and Mike are helping prepare for Christmas dinner.
Tyson and Grandpa helped get the carrots ready.

Kyle and Megan worked on dessert.

Logan and Max helped lick the frosting bowl clean.

Grandma worked like crazy to make the
traditional Cinnamon Roll Wreaths.

Megan helped decorate the wreaths.

And then, like it or not, everyone delivered the wreaths.

I took some pictures during our delivery visits of Megan and Kaitlyn
and Kyle, Denise and Tyson.
We have gone to visit the D'Ambrogias and the Jankes on
Christmas Eve for as long as I can remember, but I think
this is the first time we have taken pictures of my
mom and dad with them.

They have been friends for well over 40 years and it

wouldn't be Christmas Eve without them.

After a delicious dinner it was time for the Nativity Story.

Kaitlyn was a shepherd and Macy was the angel.

Logan and Lindsey auditioning for the donkey and Mary.

Mary (aka Lindsey) had a hard time keeping baby Jesus (Jack) in character.

All the actors kindly posed for a picture.

Next we sang some Christmas Carols.
It was Tysons favorite part!

Next up...sprinkling reindeer food in the front yard.

and our last event of the night was drinking the "sleeping potion".
