Mesa Falls

We took a little drive to see beautiful Mesa Falls.

Checking out the visitors center.

Kaitlyn did not want to sit on or touch an animal skin - which made it even more important to grandpa for her to have the experience.

It was a good place for some family pictures.

Shopping Time

As we drove out of Yellowstone we noticed some cute little shops
so after we dropped most of the family off at the cabin I took my
nieces back to do some shopping in West Yellowstone.

Spending some time shopping and eating ice cream with my cute nieces -
what could be better?

Yellowstone, Day 2

Our first day in Yellowstone we were excited to see the buffalo, but that was from a distance.  On our second day it was amazing to see them so close.  This one was just walking along the side of the road.  He was right outside our car window - close enough to touch.

Then he decided to cross to the other side of the road...

and just kept on walking as if we weren't even there.

Another amazing buffalo citing!

50th Anniversary

June 10th was my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Bruce and Denise did a great job of planning an anniversary
celebration as part of our family reunion.
(Especially nice of them since it was the
same day as their 20th anniversary)

We were very lucky to find a photographer across the street from us that was willing to
take family pictures.  It was all very spur of the moment - 5 minutes
to get outside and line up for a picture, but at least we were able to get a group shot.

Grandma and Grandpa with all 22 of their grandchildren.

                               Let the party begin!

McKayla and Megan.

Emily, Kaitlyn and Megan having fun looking at
Grandma and Grandpa's wedding album.

They loved seeing a receipt from the Grand Teton Lodge they stayed
at for their honeymoon it cost $11.50/night -
how things have changed.

The grandkids put on a little talent show for grandma and grandpa.

Macy, Caroline and Brinley showed a video they made.
(So fun to see the cousins having fun together - too bad these 3 live in
Idaho, Utah and Texas because they have a great time together when they get the chance).

Kyle does a great job on the piano!

Conner spotted Jack as he performed some of his tumbling moves for the show.

Sam showing us the his amazing skills on the recorder.

Lindsey the tumbler.

We were able to end the party watching a DVD of some of our old family photos.
Lots of fun to remember things and watch the
kids laugh at how their parents looked when they were little.

Keith, Blake, McKayla and Conner had to leave early,
but it was great to see them while we had the chance.
Had to get a family shot before they left.

It was a great day to show Grandma and Grandpa how much we love them
and celebrate such a big event with them.
