Scout Camp

Logan couldn't go with our ward to Scout Camp this year because it was the same week as our family reunion.  He was a good sport and went with the Scouts in my parents ward to Wolfeboro Scout Camp.

I went to pick him up on Friday afternoon so he could be home for his All-Star Baseball Game the next day.  I bribed him with a Snickers bar to get one picture of his Scout Camp experience.  So glad he went and completed 3 merit badges and got 2 partials!

A Day at the Exploratorium

Grandma Jackie invited us to go to the new Exploratorium in San Francisco last summer, but we never made it so it was one of our first summer activities this year.
There are a TON of hands-on activities to explore there.

Notice the piano about to fall on Kaitlyn's head.

I loved these "sketch mirror" pictures of Kaitlyn and Logan.

Thanks for the fun day in the city Grandma!

Babe Ruth Baseball

Logan played baseball with a new league this year because he was too old
for the league he has played in for years.
It turned out to be a great season.
He really liked his coaches and the guys on his team.

They ended the season with a 16-4 record.
There was one team they just could not beat.
Logan liked it so much he is already signed up for fall baseball.

Thunder

A co-worker of Mike's wanted to get rid of his dog so we decided to
take the dog for the Memorial Day weekend - just to see
what life with a dog would be like.
The dog was a big, fat bulldog named Thunder.

Logan and Thunder became fast friends and had a great weekend together.
Logan would love to have a dog, but a big bulldog that wants to move as
little as possible doesn't seem like the right fit for Logan.
They would go for walks around the block that took forever!
Thunder needed to take lots of breaks.

It was a fun friend for the weekend, but Mike found another home
that was ready for the responsibilities of a lazy bulldog.
Logan will miss his little buddy.
