Cub Scouts

Logan is now officially a cub scout. He is very excited and I must say he looks very cute in a uniform!

His first big scout project was to make a cake with his dad for the Blue and Gold Dinner. The theme of the night was "When I Grow Up". Logan has decided he wants to be in the army when he grows up so he made an army tank for his cake. Fortunately we have 10 years to help him make a different career choice.

We were pretty impressed with ourselves when the cake was finished!

He was given a Blue and Gold Dinner Patch and a Cake Baking Patch on a chef's hat for his efforts. His cake turned out great and he had a lot of fun. Next up is the Pinewood Derby!

Logan's
Survivor
Party

For Logan's 8th Birthday Party 10 castaways were invited to travel to Fontaine Island for a Survivor Adventure. We were so fortunate to catch Jeff Probst (a.k.a. Dad) to host Logan's party. Each team donned their buffs and competed in memory challenges, physical challenges and of course the dreaded food challenge. Some of the food the castaways ate were snake eyes, slugs, brains, ants and fish. We were a little worried when Logan almost lost it during the fish challenge, but in true Survivor fashion he made it through the challenge.
