Logan graduated from 5th grade!
Receiving his certificate from the principal - Mr. Green.
Friends from class...Jamar, Joel and Kayla
His 4th and 5th grade teacher - Mrs. Fischer
Logan and Ernesto
Promotion was the day before school was out. The last day of school he wore his swimming suit and had field day (games involving lots of water to celebrate the last day of school). Farmer Logan took a basket of vegetables he's grown to give his teacher.
Next up...Middle School... :(
Logan was very happy to celebrate the end of school, but I was so sad. We moved into our house 16 years ago. Mno Grant Elementary School didn't exist when we moved in. They sent around a flyer just after we arrived announcing the school and a groundbreaking ceremony. I decided I would go to the ceremony so I could tell my kids I was there when they started building their school. Of course at that time I had no kids and was starting to think I never would so I came home and cried and cried. Now 16 years later two little Fontaine's have attended the school from Kindergarten through 5th grade. We have loved Mno Grant (wish we could say the same for our Middle School and High School) and I am soooo sad that we are done with that stage of our lives.

You are such a good mom Karol! Love that you and Mike have helped your kids grow a garden and shared w/ a teacher. So impressed that you went to the elementary school while it was being built...I don't think that would have crossed my mind. What a neat idea. Logan looks so handsome and big...look out middle school!
