Logan decided to let his inner rock star come out this Halloween.
Thanks to a leather jacket from Goodwill, his own closet and a can of neon green hair dye he totally looked the part.
I wasn't going to go to the Elementary School Halloween parade until I realized it would be my last one. Have I ever mentioned that it stinks that my kids are growing up!
I wish I'd gotten a picture of the 3rd grader that dressed like the principal - dress shirt, tie, walkie talkie in his back pocket. He even shaved the top of his head so he would have the same receding hairline. It was some serious dedication to a costume and very cute to see them walking around together.
After the parade I ran home to make my cupcakes for the ward Halloween party.
There was a pumpkin carving contest at the party this year - so after school we rushed to get them done in time.
On to the party...
Couldn't wait to see the Ninja and Bumblebee and
they didn't disappoint - sooo cute!
Kaitlyn looked great in Logan's baseball uniform.
"The twins" - Lauren and Logan
Our finished pumpkins. Kaitlyn won a prize for funniest pumpkin.
My camera didn't cooperate, but I'm still posting this picture. Logan is so excited about all the candy he scored (combo of ward party, trick or treating and stealing from our candy bowl). Kaitlyn is a little sad that she decided she was too old for trick or treating (me too!!)
Kaitlyn did still help Logan sort his candy - way too much candy for one boy.
