Party Time

Our Young Women love a good party so they were excited to dress up, decorate and celebrate Halloween together.

We had a spaghetti dinner

played games

and best of all talked and laughed together!

If you can't brag about your children on your blog, where can you - right? So here I go...

Our local newspaper just had an article listing students in the area who got perfect scores on the state test. Logan is happily pointing to his name in the article.

He got 100% in math on this years state test.

As Logan said, "this deserves to go on the fridge".

I couldn't agree more and we are so proud of him!

Tortoises for Sale

I finished planting some flowers in pots one day right before I went to pick up the kids from school. By the time I got home one of my flowers had already been eaten by our hungry tortoises.

They literally knocked over the pots to get to my flowers.

Stinky things need to back off my flowers!!!

Schools Back!

The big day arrived!

To soon for all of us - we always wish summer was a little longer.

It is so unbelievable that Kaitlyn is in high school now.
I'm excited for her, but hoping the next 4 years go very slowly!!

Logan is now in 5th grade.

His last year in elementary school.

Surfs Up

As we were getting close to the end of our summer we felt like the 4 of us hadn't gone anywhere together this summer, so we planned a quick trip to the beach.

It was also a research trip for the Gwilliam Family reunion that we are in charge of next year.

We arrived Sunday evening and walked around "Sunset Beach".

It was beautiful to walk along the beach as the sun was setting.

The kids thought it was perfect to walk on Sunset Beach at sunset.

Monday we rented some wet suits and headed to Manresa Beach.

Logan was ready to hit the waves as soon as we arrived.

After watching Logan have fun Kaitlyn decided to try riding the waves.

I loved watching the birds along the beach.

We were lucky to see lots of dolphins swimming in the ocean while we were there.

It was so much fun to spend a few days together relaxing at the beach,

can't wait to do it again soon!

Wolfpack Football

Against my better judgement I agreed to let Logan play football this year.

Tonight was his first scrimage.

I was a bundle of nerves from the first tackle to the last.

Good thing he looks so cute in his uniform.

Logan had a great time and the best part is that he walked off

the field on his own with no injuries!

(unlike the quarterback who was carried off the field and headed

for the hospital to make sure he didn't break any bones)

Pray for us that it is a fun and safe season!!!

Youth Beach Trip

Saturday we headed to Stinson Beach for our wards Youth Beach Trip.

Logan loved playing in the water and riding the waves!
I couldn't get pictures of him in the water because he was so far out there - freaked me out a bit.
