School Days

Sadly yesterday was the first day of school.

Logan decided to accept the fact school was starting and

 was excited to start Middle School.

That's right Logan is now a 6th grader at Black Diamond Middle School. 

Still can't believe Kaitlyn is in high school and now she is already

a Sophomore at Deer Valley High School.

Logan came home and said he likes Middle School better than Elementary School.

Kaitlyn said her first day was "OK"

So relieved they survived their first day and we're all hoping for a great year.

Idaho

We were able to take a quick trip to Idaho this summer.

We were excited to visit Eric and Kris and their kids. 

Henry has grown so much since we saw him last year.

We all had fun playing with him.

Macy was in a triathalon while we were there so we were able to cheer her on to victory.

Great job Macy!

They became fast friends.

We of course had to fit in some shopping.

One of our stops was to "Knit Wits".

We went to Boise every summer growing up to visit my grandparents.

After hitting the drive thru at "The Big Bun" for the best french fries my mom and I would go to "Knit Wits".

This is the same sign they had from when I was a girl.

We're a little afraid they had the same carpet too :)
